Title: Sara M. Johnson, LMT
Training: I graduated from Universal College of Healing Arts in Omaha, Nebraska in May of 2012 with a 4.0 GPA. There, I learned how to use a combination of techniques including Swedish, Myofascial Release (MFR), Aromatherapy, Child and Infant massage, Sports Massage, and Comfort Touch (I use in hospice.) I use a combination of these as well as Table Thai, Precision Neuromuscular Therapy, plus stretching to suit each individual's needs.
Practice Philosophy: Massage encourages natural healing of the body by increasing blood and oxygen levels and calming the nervous system. Our bodies were created with amazing healing properties and my role is to encourage that healing by releasing tension, increasing circulation, working out muscle adhesions, reducing scar tissue, and reducing stress. Try massage therapy, you may be surprised how much better you feel.
